Major respect to the guys and girls who paddle out there, though... I don't know if I could do it... I watched one guy try to get in and he got fed sand at the shore break for about 6 or 7 minutes before he gave up... he came out bravely with a smile, but you could tell the effort was herculean and he was beat...
