Tom Iovenitti, the president & chief operating officer for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Orange County & Desert Area communities has stepped down from his position and has left the NRT company as of November 11th. In a tactful letter from Jeff Culbertson, the Executive Vice President of CB’s parent company NRT, he writes “It is with regret that I announce that Tom Iovenitti is leaving his position to pursue other opportunities outside of the NRT-Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage company. Tom was instrumental in leading the Orange County company during one of the most challenging periods in real estate history… He brought a unique approach to the business and exhibits tremendous passion in everything he does.”
Tom’s departure was abrupt and no public reason was given, though speculation is sure to abound.
I knew Tom as a manager, as the president of CB and still know him as a friend; seeing his smiling face, hearing his encouraging words and having him be a part in my career will be missed. I am sure most of the other agents in our Irvine office would agree with me. That said, Tom is a hot commodity and I’m sure we’ll see him involved with another brokerage and/or real estate venture in the near future. Speaking on behalf of my colleagues at the Coldwell Banker Irvine office, we wish him all the best.
See you out there, Tom!
